Mt. McKinley Classic Summit and Traverse

Cost - $3,800.00 per person (26 Days)

This expedition will ascend the West Buttress route and descend via the Harper Glacier, Karstens Ridge and the Muldrow Glacier, ending with a 3 day trek across the tundra to Wonder Lake. A strong mountaineering background is required.

Let our Denali guides give you the necessary background in the skills needed for a future climb of the highest peak in North America. We want you to have the opportunity to learn crevasse rescue, ice axe and crampon techniques, winter camping and glacier travel in depth. At the end of the expedition your guides will give you a clear evaluation of the skills you need to hone to be a strong and safe team member on a Denali expedition. This course is appropriate training for anyone planning to climb on glaciated terrain anywhere in the world.

Alaska Range Climb

If you are looking for a classic mountaineering trip in Alaska with fly- in access, glacial approaches on skis and a challenging snow and ice climb join us for this trip. Expedition guides are vastly familiar with the mountains surrounding Mt. McKinley and the final decision on which peak to climb will depend on avalanche and climbing conditions. You have found the perfect trip if you want an exciting climb and/or more experience in the Alaskan scale of mountaineering. The steeper more technical terrain requires a high guide to client ratio.
